The widget doesn't update

Here is how to fix a widget that doesn't update:

1. Restart your device
2. Remove the widget and add it again
3. Delete the app and reinstall it

Step 1 solves the problem in most cases. If steps 1 and 2 don't help, reinstalling the app usually does.

Your events will not be lost, but history and templates will be deleted.

If you want to avoid that, you can reinstall the app while keeping its data as follows. This usually gets the widget working again:

1. Open the "Settings" app
2. Tap "General" → "iPhone Storage" and select this app (tap "Show All" if it isn't listed)
3. Tap "Offload App"
4. Tap "Reinstall App"
